Collection: Western Sahara

Western Sahara has minimal settled agriculture due to its desert environment. Any chili farming occurs in small irrigated plots around towns and refugee camps, focusing on long green and red chilies similar to Moroccan and Saharan annuum types.

These peppers, often imported from or grown like Moroccan chilies, are used in stews, couscous, and sauces, and dried for storage. There is no distinct Western Saharan chili export; supply chains are tied to Morocco and neighboring countries.

Flavours are medium-hot and earthy, part of broader Maghrebi spice practices.
