Collection: Svalbard and Jan Mayen

Svalbard and Jan Mayen have no field agriculture; any chili use relies on greenhouse experiments or imported produce. Residents and researchers may grow small amounts of jalapeño, cayenne, or ornamental chilies in indoor setups, but most heat comes from imported fresh chilies and global sauces.

There is no local chili industry, export, or distinct cuisine; chilies simply add spice to otherwise Nordic or international fare.
