Flavour Profile: Extremely sweet, juicy, and crunchy, with thin walls. Resembles Habanero flavour but without the heat. Used for its aromatic and fruity qualities.
Origin: Venezuela, South America. Regional variety sometimes regarded as a cultural emblem.
Species: Capsicum Chinense.
Plant Description: Plant reaches up to 1m tall. Pods are oblong, thin-walled, transition from light green to vibrant red as they mature. High-yielding, decorative, suitable for stuffing, salads, and pickles. Rare and sometimes striped/variegated appearance.
