Flavour Profile: Mild-to-medium heat, slightly smoky with a grassy undertone; ideal for drying and use as powder/flakes. Unique in shape and flavour, very different from typical Texas or Tabasco peppers.
Origin: Deep south Texas, USA
Species: Capsicum Annuum var. glabriusculum 
Plant Description: Wild, elongated chili (1/4–3/4in, rice-sized). Plants reach up to 6+ft tall, highly prolific, late-season ripening. Pods mature from green to red, thin-walled, best when dried for spice or powder.
