Flavour Profile: Fruity, slightly sweet, similar to Bhut Jolokia but not as searingly hot; ideal in salsas, sauces, and recipes requiring medium to superhot spice.
Origin: Developed by Italian growers as a cross between Bhut Jolokia and Pimenta de Neyde.
Species: Capsicum Chinense.
Plant Description: Pods begin purplish-black and transition to bright red with dark purple blushing. Bumpy, ghost pepper-like shape, and highly productive.
