Flavour Profile: Sweet, fruity, citrusy, and spicy. Exceptional well-balanced pepper, described as aromatic and complex—similar to Bhut x Pimenta de Neyde crosses, but with a peach/pink colourway offering both sweetness and fire.
Origin: Mojo Peach is an F5 selection derived from an AISPES Bhut x Neyede cross, developed by Enrico Lai and further grown out by Bryan Townshend and other breeders. The original was red, but the peach/pink pheno is an advanced selection from this line.
Species: Capsicum Chinense.
Plant Description: Plants are compact to medium-sized, robust, and highly productive. Pods ripen from green to pale peach (sometimes pink or lavender blushing), bumpy with variable shape due to continuing instability in the line. Suitable for containers or field growing with good sun exposure. Grows well in a range of climates and is prized for ornamental and culinary appeal.
