Species: Capsicum Annuum.
Plant Description: Thin-skinned, conical, green fruits up to 10cm (4in) long that ripen to bright red; highly productive, bushy plant, best harvested green for classic taste. Used fresh in salads, sautéed/fried, stuffed, or pickled.
Culinary Use: Antipasti, side dishes, barbecue, salads, and pickling; mild and sweet flavour lends itself to many Mediterranean recipes.
