Flavour Profile: Sweet, very slightly hot, fruity with hints of lemon and mango. Used fresh in salsas or as a garnish.
Origin: Heirloom type, popular for shape resembling a monkey’s face.
Species: Capsicum Annuum.
Plant Description: Large pods (up to 11cm), distinctive face-like shape; yellow or red when ripe, bush habit, grows 60cm+ in containers, sometimes much larger in ground.
