Plant Description: Plants feature dark, almost black foliage. Pods are also deep, dark in colour when immature, progressing to a reddish-brown at maturity. The shape and colour of pods may vary from plant to plant due to ongoing instability in the variety. Plants are highly productive and visually ornamental, with dark leaves and dramatic colour transitions.
Ornamental/Culinary Use: Highly prized for both its visual appeal—dark foliage and striking fruit—and its intense heat. Grown as much for garden display as for chili use.
