Flavour Profile: Fruity, citrus-like, and slightly sweet; less earthy than the Chocolate (original) 7 Pot Douglah. The yellow version offers tropical flavour with a fruitier finish, sometimes with tangy undertones.
Origin: Hybrid of original 7 Pot Douglah (chocolate) and Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, bred in the USA and Canada.
Species: Capsicum Chinense.
Plant Description: Large wrinkled pods, sometimes almost tennis ball size; typically ripen vibrant yellow. Plants grow robustly, up to 3–4ft, with prolific yields on healthy, bushy growth. Pods are slightly oily; thin-to-medium wall thickness, excellent for sauce and powder use.
