Origin: From northeastern Brazil (Amapá/Macapá region), where it is grown as a local specialty chili.

Species: Capsicum Chinense.

Plant Description: Bushy plants around 80–90 cm tall, heavy‑yielding, with small pumpkin‑ or heart‑shaped pods about 3–4 cm that ripen from green through orange to bright red.
