Collection: Sweden

Sweden has an active hobby and small commercial chili scene, using greenhouses and indoor growing to produce jalapeño, cayenne, Hungarian wax, bird’s eye, habanero, Scotch bonnet, and superhots like bhut jolokia and Carolina Reaper. Most are sold fresh or turned into craft hot sauces and chili products; Sweden also imports large amounts of dried chilies and sauces.

In Swedish cuisine, chilies are common in tacos, Asian dishes, pizzas, and “Texas-style” stews, while traditional food uses them sparingly. Flavours range from mild jalapeño freshness to extreme superhot fire, with strong interest in fruity habanero-style sauces.
