Collection: Guyana

Guyana produces hot peppers in all regions, with major cultivation occurring in Parika backlands, Canals Polder, Mahaica, and Moblissa. Varieties like Wiri Wiri, Miwiri, Bird Pepper, and Ball O' Fire are grown for fresh consumption and for processing.

The sector is developing rapidly, as agricultural diversification and exports—especially of processed pepper products—expand through government initiatives and farmer networks. Shade houses and greenhouse parks are supporting higher yields, with cycles yielding up to 75,000 pounds of pepper per shade house.
