Collection: Greece

Greece supports more than 200 varieties of peppers, with cultivation centered in northern regions like Western Macedonia and the Peloponnese. Florina pepper, a flagship northern Greek product, is recognized for its thick flesh, sweet flavour, and resilience to local climates, while Aridaia’s Mpachovou peppers are grown under low-input systems for premium powder production.

Pepper farming is embedded in Greek culinary culture, with both sweet and spicy types central to salads, sauces, and the famed Spetsofai dish. Local cultivars are increasingly exported, particularly within the Balkans and EU.
